The Sleep Coaching Institute®

No one discipline owns sleep.

And no one discipline owns the solution.

Who We Are

We're not one entity. We're a collective.

Sleep Coaching Institute was built by professionals from different disciplines who share one conviction: sleep health belongs at the center of every person's care. Our team of Clinical Contributors spans medicine, movement, physiology, and behavior, brought together because sleep isn't owned by one profession, and neither is the solution.

We didn't build SCI to add another wellness certification to a crowded market. We built it to establish a standard where none existed. We're an approved continuing education provider through NASM, AFAA, and BOC, the same organizations that credential fitness professionals, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation specialists across the country.

Our Mission

Closing a gap healthcare left open

Sleep dysfunction sits underneath chronic pain, metabolic disease, mental health conditions, and injury recovery, yet it's rarely addressed at the coaching or allied health level. We built SCI to change that, for professionals and for the people they serve.

How We Teach

Five systems, one framework

Sleep isn't one behavior or one fix. SCI's curriculum breaks it into five interacting systems, the same framework used across every SCI certification and program. Understanding how they work together is what separates structured coaching from generic advice.

Sleep Rhythm & Timing System
Circadian biology and sleep timing
Sleep Drive System
Sleep pressure, hormones, and biological blockers
Environmental Support System
Light, temperature, sound, and sensory inputs
Ergonomics & Sleep Posture System
Positioning, support, and nighttime alignment
Cognitive & Behavioral Sleep System
Patterns, beliefs, and lasting behavior change
Where To Go Next

Two paths, one standard

Get certified to bring SCI's framework to your clients, or fix your own sleep with a structured, evidence-based program.
